Who can attend?
This group is for individuals who are looking to expand their network, connect with like-minded young professionals, and get some exercise at the same time.
Anyone under Director level can attend, whether that means you're a recent graduate or have been working for a few years and have struggled to do a lot of networking (like us!), our group is the perfect place to start building connections.
When & where?
Join us for our next walk! We'll be meeting outside The Vision Building, grabbing a coffee from Blue Palm (on us!) and then head for a short 30-minute walk and give you the chance to have a chat with some new people.
Sign up below to stay in the loop for our next event.

What is the group for?
We have created this new group as an alternative to the overly corporate and stuffy networking events that you may have been to before. We also didn't feel like there were many other good opportunities to meet other young professionals in Dundee.
We want the group to be a good place for you to...
Build meaningful connections
Network in a relaxing and informal environment
Share ideas and advice with others
Get away from your desk and get some fresh air
Although we don't want there to be any 'rules' as such, it's important to know that this group is NOT for...
Sales pitches and trying to win new business
Being competitive or trying to one-up each other

We set this group up back in 2021 with the aim of creating an informal environment for people to get more comfortable with networking and meet some new faces around Dundee.
It's a great way to share ideas, and experiences, and build a strong group of people around you as we all look to progress through our careers. I hope you can join us at our next meet-up!
When I'm not working, I enjoy following Newcastle United, playing golf, spending time with friends & family, and going on road trips.

I love the idea of being active while also networking with people. It takes away the pressure and it’s more of a casual lunchtime walk while also meeting like-minded young professionals to chat with and learn from. Hopefully, that’s something you’re also looking for so you can join us and build connections!
I'm a big fan of reading and enjoy watching ice hockey so that's how I spend most of my weekends.
I love going for long walks with my doggy friend, Rory, and playing tennis with my friends on a nice summer evening.

Alumni and Business Relations Officer, University of Dundee
I first learned about YPM when I was looking for networking opportunities in Dundee. The group provides an amazing opportunity for young professionals to get together, exchange ideas, and stay connected in case of future opportunities.
As the Alumni & Business Relations Officer at the University of Dundee, community building is my priority. I was delighted to be invited to collaborate on this initiative.
When I’m not in the office, I’m likely doing Zumba or bachata. You can also find me trying out new recipes, or all cosied up with a good book.
