iPhone design - Games Guide (1)-1

What's this guide about, then?

There is so much creative talent in the UK and so many great ideas for games. However, whilst you may be focused on how to make your game or how you’ll market it, unfortunately, a lot of gaming startups don’t even make it that far.

You need to have the fundamentals in place so your business doesn't fail before you really start, and this guide will hopefully help you with that!

The guide includes:

  • Advice from industry experts
  • Funding options for your startup
  • How to write a business plan
  • How to choose the right structure for your business
  • How to pay taxes & more!

Stephen Bain

Partner

Since 2019 I have been Head of our Games & Digital Sector group, looking after both well-established businesses and new business startups in the gaming sector. I am a Partner at Henderson Loggie and am responsible for accounting and tax requirements for a wide variety of small and medium-sized businesses.

My gaming days go back as far as my first ZX Spectrum in the mid-1980s, but my accounting and tax knowledge has progressed faster than my gaming skills since then.

I love the energy of the sector, and really enjoy being part of a collaborative support network to games business.
