What you need to apply

 2:1 degree in any subject - it doesn't need to be in accountancy!

  Excellent oral and written communication skills

  A proactive and analytical approach to problem solving

The position will initially be offered on a three-year fixed-term training contract where you will be given the opportunity to develop your business advisory skills through our HL Academy.

You will train to become a qualified professional, which will give you access to many career opportunities. You will cover a variety of tasks, enabling you to grow personally as well as professionally.

What is the Chartered Accountant qualification?

The Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a prestigious professional designation awarded to individuals who have completed a comprehensive program of study and practical training in accounting.

As a CA, you'll gain expertise in financial management, auditing, taxation, and other key areas of business. This qualification is recognised globally and signifies your proficiency as a financial expert and trusted advisor.

It opens doors to various career opportunities in public practice, corporate finance, risk management, and more.

The application process

1. Submit application

First things first, send us your CV! The first stage of the application should only take a few minutes to complete.

2. Send us a video

Following our first shortlist, we'll then ask candidates to send us a short video answering some additional questions.

3. Assessment centre

If you are successful we will then invite you to take part in our assessment centre, which includes tests and an interview. 

4. Job offer

After completing the assessment centre, the successful candidates will be contacted with their job offers with a start date of August 2024.
